WHAT THEN?
Dale Barnes
There is quite a bit of advertising on TV for the need to save money for retirement. There are plans that can help you inpreparation for about 15 to 20 years of taking it easy. These companies supply all the needed council to make retirement a great time. But my concern is "What Then"
If your health holds up and money is sufficient, what happens when you die. What then? The Bible tells us that it is appointed for a man once to die. This life does not last forever. It\ ends for us all. I would like to encourage you to make plans and be sure about your relationship with God. The idea that we have plenty of time to consider the next life; we don’t have to get in a rush, may end in tragedy Truly none of us know when we will step into eternity. The Bible tells us that our days are numbered before we come into the world. (Ps.139:16) What then?
God has given us a simple message. His son has made the way to have a clear, safe massage from this life to the eternal kingdom of Christ. In his love for all mankind, the gospel is going out that whosoever may come and receive forgiveness of sins and a new life and relationship.with God. You become a child of God and will share his life and reality throughout all eternity..”…in the ages to come He(God) will show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.” (Eph.2;7 NKJV) ”… let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.” (Rev.22:17).
None of us know when wie will step out of this present world into the hereafter. It may be soon and unexpected, What then? It is so important to make our calling and election sure. Now will know what will happen then!
