Notice is hereby given that the Board of Stephens County Commissioners will accept bids for a Bridge Project for Stephens County Commissioner, District #1, Marlow, OK. The Project will be for labor and materials on a 70' X 27' Concrete and Steel Composite Structure. Contractor will remove the existing bridge structure and asphalt for approaches.
PLEASE PLACE START AND COMPLETION DATES IN BID, AS THIS COULD BE A FACTOR IN A WARD OF BID.
All bidders submitting a bid for Bid "B" must be in attendance at a Mandatory PreBid Meeting, to be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at 9:45 a.m. Please meet at the District #1 County Barn, located at 1208 S. Railroad St., Marlow, OK 73055, and bidders will leave from County Barn to be taken to Job Site. Bidders submitting a bid for Bid "A" are encouraged to attend.
NOTE: EXACT SPECIFICATIONS MAY BE OBTAINED FROM CEC CORPORATION AT 4555 WEST MEMORIAL ROAD, OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA, 73142.
Must have Worker's Compensation on applicable employees, and must provide verification of same. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified or Cashier's Check or Bid Bond equal to 5% of the bid, made payable to the County Clerk of Stephens County, Oklahoma, as proposal guaranty. Checks for unsuccessful bidders shall be returned after bid opening. Upon award of bid, successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond.
Bids will be opened on Monday, the 5th day of February, 2018 at 9:45 a.m. in the County Commissioners' Office during the Board's regularly scheduled meeting. Bids Shall be presented and/or filed up to that time in the Stephens County Clerk's Office, both offices being in the Stephens County Courthouse, 101 S. 11th, Room 203, Duncan, Oklahoma. All bids received after that time will be rejected. All bids must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked "BID" on the outside.
The Board of County Commissioners will review all bids submitted and select the bid that best meets or exceeds the required minimum specifications. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids that are not satisfactory.
