DEAN CONSTRUCTION is accepting subcontractor bids for

construction of Breezy Hill Park, in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by MHS Planning & Design, LLC. This project is a Texas Parks and Wildlife Local Assistance Program; TPWD #50-000462.

Sealed bids addressed to DEAN CONSTRUCTION will be received by the City Secretary at the City of Rockwall 385 S. Goliad St. Rockwall, TX. until 2:00 pm, Wednesday April 5th, 2017.

All bid results will be read aloud at the time of bid opening. A bidder may bid on one (1) or more bid items on the same form. Each bid item must be bid complete with no alterations, and must be accompanied by a qualification statement that demonstrates the bidder having

successfully completed three (3) similar projects in the past five (5) years. Appropriate instruction and bidder experience are described elsewhere in the bound contract manual. Any bids received after the 2:00 pm closing time will be returned unopened.

Scope: Construction of City Park includes: erosion control, demolition, earthwork, utilities, site concrete, pavilion, playground, lake overlook, irrigation, landscape, turf establishment and electrical.

No Bid Bond is required. Performance, Maintenance and Payment Bonds may be required at the discretion of the City and/or Dean

Construction. Bids will be evaluated by Dean Construction and the City. Successful bidders will be notified within thirty (30) days of the bid date. All prices must be completed in both script and figures.

Dean Construction and the City reserve the right to waive any or all informalities or to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 90 calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

Attention is called to the fact that not less than minimum salaries and wages must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must

ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not

discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or

national origin.

In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating prices in the Bid, Dean Construction and the City reserve the right to accept the most advantageous construction thereof to the City or to reject the bid.
